The Police – after Regatta de Blanc
A&M was keen for a new offering and a return to live gigs. Somewhat rushed, Zenyatta Mondatta was released in the autumn of 1980. It became the Police's US first really big album, reaching the top of the charts in the U.S. and Canada.
