Fleas, Rats and the Plague
Fleas are tiny, biting pest that jump from one host to the other and can spread disease each time it bites. Fleas can carry tapeworm larvae and they can cause an allergic reaction in people and pets when they bite.

Building Is Not Their Specialty
Carpenter ants do not eat wood; they chew the wood to create a nest for the colony. The nests, sometimes called galleries, are made when the ant bites off the wood and carries the waste outside the nest.
