The carjacking of parked vehicles or those on the road which come to a stop depends on the car owner being inattentive to their surroundings. Carjackers, like street robbers, prefer the element of surprise.

Technology today has made our world much smaller, and has given us amazing tools such as the Internet, high speed Personal Computers [ PC’s ] and medical technology that we could only dream about no so very long ago.With the good comes the bad.

In our fast paced modern living we probably don’t give the practice of parking our cars as much thought as we should. We need to practice some common sense when we park our cars, as we do in other areas of our behavior.

In these times it’s not uncommon to receive not only unwanted phone calls but we must also contend with knocks on our front doors from strangers. We get hammered with people wanting us to make donations to this and that, wanting to sell us...
