Easy Woman's Self-Defense

| by Ken Keiscome | October 13, 2006

Working with women can be fun and exciting for those who want to gain a little more understanding with the concepts of women’s self-defense. It doesn’t have to be confusing or complex. Women’s self-defense if taught correctly is easy and interesting.

The way traditional martial arts is taught it can take years to master all the moves and techniques. Complicated moves can frustrate and confuse even the most dedicated practitioner.

When push-comes-to-shove and the adrenaline spikes during an attack, an individual can be hard pressed to remember even the most basic of moves, let alone the complex combinations of what is taught in the average dojo.

This is where PDS Personal Defense Systems, http://www.pdsPersonalDefenseSystems.com, excels above the rest when it comes to teaching Women’s Self-Defense. They have taken the complicated concepts and reduced them down to the basics.

Instead of learning complicated moves that can be quickly forgotten, during the confusion of an attack or an assault, they teach simple straightforward attacks to the vital areas of your attackers body. Yes it is possible for a 100-pound woman to drop a 250-pound man because it doesn’t have anything to do with strength.

A strong tree can snap and break during a hurricane but a blade of grass just bends and flows to the same gale that carries the same broken tree away to its doom. A woman can easily learn to bend and flow to the rhythm of her attackers moves, quickly finding the openings she needs to disable or stun her attacker.

PDS Personal Defense Systems, http://www.pdsPersonalDefenseSystems.com, does not teach a woman how to go head-to-head with any man. That would not be the wise thing to do. But rather they teach her how to use his strength and bulk against himself then quickly escape to safety.

When an assault or an attack starts a woman only has 5 to 10 seconds to react. If she doesn’t strike to a vital area during that time her strength will quickly disappear and the assault can continue. Learn what you can do during those first critical seconds to win your freedom and your safety.

People are starting to realize that no matter where they live violence can happen at any time. Don’t sell yourself or your loved ones short when it comes to knowledge about self-defense. Especially since it is so easy to acquire and master.
