Different hair days...

It was great deal of good luck. I Googled her. I have to say beside the hair being wonderful it was a real pleasure to meet this skillful young lady. She is bubbly, easy to talk to - the time spent with her was indeed like another bonus :)
I had my very first hair extension experience abroad in Czech republic. It was done with poor quality thick heavy asian hair. They didn't stay in well and glue kept melting in my fine hair when I was blowdrying it. It was mess, on my head and in my head...At the time I was in Dubai having very important photo shoots. It was SO embarrassing being photographed with less and less hair every day. I was under the pressure to find somebody to have those extensions redone in the country where I did not know anybody... After that first experience I told myself either I would never have any extensions done again or I would go only for best available.
So I went for it again. It was not as bad as the first time I thought, that time my extensions were similar hair texture to mine. The salon where I had it done was on top end of the market so was the price. I had to have it coloured the next day though because the colour match wasn't perfect. It turned out to be a mistake, hair extensions were so porous and different from my own hair so the colour took unevenly which ruined a natural look. Then I had extensions removed, I was left with my own frizzy hair feeling almost bold as my own hair's extremely fine. I love having long hair, the occasional breeze which would blow it and my long hair would tickle my back.
Third time I decided to be more adventureous. Having had some experience, I was confident enough to recognise good quality hair from not so good. I went on Google search, I liked the website, later the conversation over the phone. She made me feel comfortable from the beginning. So we met, I was very concerned about my fine hair and if it would suit for another experiment . Tatiana was very friendly and open who would listen to what you had to say and then she would try to give a realistic explanation on how much of the dream could become true. In my case she suggested Russian Virgin hair.
I had no idea what it meant, Virgin Hair from virgins? It is simply russian uncoloured hair and it is so light and so soft that once you touch hair like that you don't want to have any other hair in your hair. It is so silky, smooth and colours are very natural. But before I went for it I must confess, I decided to visit two more salons in greater London to compare prices, hair quality, method of application, etc. It was waist of time. I have to say what I particularly liked about Tatiana's professional approach, I asked her how many stands I would need for full head so I could calculate the price, and she just went: "Don't worry I will put as many as it will need to make to look good, it won't affect the price". In other salons they were charging for each strand, who knew exactly how many I would need?! How much money I will have to spend?! Anyway I had it done with Tatiana, this time the longest extensions possible, my natural colour, with micro rings, it took miraculous 90 minutes and I became Cinderella again. I asked her to blend in a little bit of chesnuty hair just to make it look a bit more lively it added a bit of volume too. When she finished I couldn't take my eyes off it. It was just beautiful - natural blend of auburn, chesnuty, so lively, naturaly shiny, healthy looking long hair.
Funny enough she said since she had been doing extensions for some time she could spot them easily on other women, I was sure she wouldnt in my hair (if she didn't know me) that how natural it looked!. I remember on the way back home I noticed that my new hair kept turning mens heads in my direction. I was loving it!
I still have them in my hair, it is the third month now, I haven't lost any strands. Microrings have grown down and are showing a bit, but its natural i suppose, my own hair is 1,5 inch longer. In my case that was only tiny disadvantage when it came to comfort of wearing microrings I felt them for first few days because my own hair being so fine it didnt provide much of a cushion against my scalp for this little beads. Otherwise microring method is fantastic, no hair is coming out before/during/after washing/brushing/sweeming, etc.
So what shall I say more? Looking after them is a piece of cake - apply good conditioner, straighten, curl, let it down or put it up. My headache from looking after my hair is over because it is much easier to style my hair with extensions in! It is important to know that there is this skillful, friendly, honest professional around who would suggest the best quality hair available at affordable prices. It is very important particularly because being a glamour model I have to look great at all times + change my looks quite often...
So thanks Tatiana and see you just before Cannes Film Festival, I'll definitely need you!
