Shopping on the Internet and How It’s Changed the Way We Shop

| by Judie Ulberg | September 04, 2008
The internet is a wonderful place. It’s changed the way people shop and it will continue to do so for many years to come. No longer are we forced to drive to the local mall during business hours. Now we can sit in front of our computer anytime of the day or night…….even on holidays and purchase anything we want.
This is what I did the other day. I was shopping using the keywords DISCOUNT DESIGNER EYEGLASSES and I came across a press release that caught my eye. The link, http://www.prlog.org/101 … bsite.html was for a website that recently lowered prices. The link to the website is http://www.popularpeepers.com and I was impressed that I could shop for designer eyeglasses from the comfort of my home. I also could not believe how inexpensive the eyeglass frames were.

I have an eyeglass fetish and this site will be great for my pocketbook. They carried some of the best brands including Prada, D&G, Versace, Armani and DKNY and the prices were so low I couldn’t believe it. One of the frames on the website (DK4531) was only $82.88 and I had just purchased this frame at my local optometrist’s office for $179.99. I bet you can guess where I’m buying my glasses next time.

After this, I searched the internet for other websites that carried the same eyeglasses, but found that Popular Peepers was cheaper than the rest. The site also had a great selection of discounted designer sunglasses. Check it out for yourself, it might save you some of your hard earned cash.
