Making a search engine friendly website

It is not the search engines that will be purchasing your products but it is the online users. The website should serve both the online users and the search engines. Most of the times it has been noticed that after making a beautiful website does not generate enough profit. It is not that difficult to make a search engine friendly website but it is very important to have a dedicated coordination between the graphic designer, a SEO professional, and copy writer.

The main objective of a search engine friendly website is that it is made for the common online users. After that there can be some changes made in the website so it is easier for the search engines to index. Making a website for the search engines means that there are some set form of rules and principles those are followed by the web designer and is preparing a keyword rich website.

Following are some points that should be followed to make a search engine friendly website:

- The website should be easily navigated and the HTML code should also be simple.

- Avoid JavaScript and other dynamic pages it is always beneficiary to make websites with .html or htm page files. As JavaScript introduces many codes in between the header tags and it pushes down the text so it is better to avoid it. The code is reduced to one line if the script code is introduced in the outside file.

It is much better if you display all your web pages on one page that is linked to the index page or build a Google site map .xml file that makes the Google spiders to locate all your web pages effortlessly.

- Permit the search bots to creep in your websites without session IDs that follows their course throughout the website. The entrance pattern is of the bots is dissimilar as these methods are beneficial for keeping a track of the personal activities. And there are chances that these situations could lead to a condition where you website will not being indexed. The search engines will be needing cookies and this will be one important reason that will hinder the search for the sub pages of your website.

If you are making a search engine enabled website then it is better to make a separate HTML page for the pictures, text and the graphics.

- The text on your web page should not exceed more than five hundred words. The usage of the keywords should not be very frequent as it would be uncomfortable for the users. The usage of the keywords should be in such a way that it satisfies both the users and the search engines.

- The Doorway pages means it is a fake page that is prepared just to gain decent ranking. What it does that it redirects the user to another page on the website. Doorway pages are made automatically by a template and it is known as spam by the most of the search engines.
