Is It OK To Fail?

Is It OK To Fail?
As children we are born without the mental and emotional limitations. We are really completely free and capable of anything. Immediately after birth, we begin to absorb all the information from our surroundings, in the beginning mainly from parents, and later from friends, society, etc.
Then it really is no surprise that the society looks like it does, with a variety of individuals who either do not have the ability to create something new, or are so angry with the surroundings that they deliberately destroy it for others.
Society today is just a reflection of the values and norms we are passing on to our children. Given how poorly many feel today, you certainly must understand that not everything is going in the right direction.
What is the solution? It is essential to teach your children that they are good enough whether they succeed in society's eyes, or not. For that, in order for the child to feel that he or she is good enough, you and I need to feel that we are good enough because our children do not listen to what we say, rather they mimic what we do.
If you have poor self-esteem, then your children will also have poor self-esteem, and then in turn pass it on to their children. The problems in society are not an issue of class, but more of an issue of attitude, therein we need to teach our children that they are good enough, and that it is ok to fail.
I notice, in my coaching business, that fear of failure is perhaps the most restrictive of the reason that some have poor finances, health and relationships. If you can teach your children that it is ok to fail, then they will dare to succeed.
Children by nature are full of energy and imagination. This fantasy can then be transformed into fantastic ideas and companies when the child grows up. Instead, of using this power, parents, schools and workplaces put a lid on it and at the same time they are being always told to be careful so that they do not fail. The problem with this is that makes us never dare to succeed, either.
Those who really succeed, get rid of all obstructions that make them fail, and give 100% so that they succeed, as they do on many occasions. Then if they should fail, they would not see themselves as failures, but rather the situation as a challenge wherein they create a springboard on which to succeed next time.
Here lies the success of Bill Gates. Today, you are condemned by society and banks if you fail once, and they do all in their power so you do not try again.
Here are four tips on what you can do to dare to invest in life:
1. Dare to fail, which makes you dare to succeed also
2. Do what feels right for you
3. Take back your power to use your imagination
4. Try not to be good enough for others because you will never be.
You are good enough as you are, no matter what others think.
Good Luck!
