Your Happiness - How To Get It Back
Do you have an objective that you really want to achieve? So many people that I meet want to create more happiness and balance in their lives, without knowing how to do it. The key is to set objectives that you really can achieve, and the happiness will surely come while you do this.
So many of us strive, almost fanatically, to feel happy in our lives, since it is an outer sign that everything is going well in our lives. In this pursuit of happiness we often do everything to feel this rush all the time. Therefore many take the help of alcohol, drugs or something else, which hold the feelings inside from knowing both happiness and sorrow, which both are natural parts of our lives.
My proposal to you is to set an objective that you actually want to achieve. Think about what would really make you feel happy when you strive to achieve that what you want. Set a date when you want to achieve the goal and write it on a small piece of paper and carry it in your pocket.
When you get the chance to strive for what you really want, you will feel happiness during the journey, and also when you have achieved your goal. When you have achieved this objective, set a new goal and create the same type of journey.
When we tend to become depressed or feel that life lacks meaning, it is often because we have nothing to strive for. In today's society, most people have the basic needs such as food and shelter then perhaps you should get a job goal or a personal objective in order to get the power back in your life.
Of course you are not going to only feel happiness when you strive toward your goals; think of the other feelings we have considered as being negative - it is often on the other side of the same coin. Of course many people's lives consist of both hope and despair, but does that life have less value than that of one who goes around wearing a false smile?
Here are three tips to create more happiness and balance in your life:
1. Create and act upon a goal you really want to realize.
2. Accept that negative feelings are a part of life and that it is OK to have those types of feelings
3. When you are feeling down, there is often an answer within your reach. Sorrow and happiness are closely related, but you do not feel them at the same time.
Good Luck!
