Can You Lose Weight with a Rapid Weight Loss Diet?

It may sound appealing to think that you can lose 10 pounds a week but the reality is that extreme rapid weight loss does not only NOT work, you could be risking your health. Therefore, if you are thinking of losing a lot of weight very quickly, you should look sideways at all quick weight loss diet guides and judge them according to their own merits.
Many rapid weight loss diets tell you that you can lose a substantial amount of weight in just a matter of days. Most of the time, the diets deal with cutting virtually most products out of the mix. They limit the dieter practicing the diet to only a few, select fruits and vegetables. In other words, say goodbye to meats and bread and hello to a load of brocolli and blueberries.
And these diets can get even more complicated. Some will require you to eat food raw and if they do allow cooking, they will require you to watch the oils and fats you use to cook them with. Although a raw food diet does work, you have to question whether it is sustainable in the long term. Plus, a diet such as this can wreck havoc on nutrition as you are cutting out certain nutrients that absolutely vital to your overall health.
So, if you are dead set on a rapid weight loss diet, what is the best one out there that delivers results? The answer is going to be different for each dieter. Different dieters will experience different results.
Finally, do these supposed rapid weight loss diets really work? The answer is yes although that is a loaded "yes". Yes, rapid weight loss diets will work but only for the short term. In order to really lose weight, a dieter will need to find a diet that they can live with long term. And let's be real...a diet that consists of nothing but raw fruits and vegetables can be a tall order for someone that like chicken and beef.
