Learn Internet Casino Craps Games
| by Kenasen | November 29, 2007
Online craps is a game played by rolling two dice. The craps game is split into two distinct phases, known as the coming out phase and the point phase.
The coming out phase
In this phase, the players aim is to roll either a 7 or an 11 while betting on the pass line. If an internet casino craps is rolled, meaning a 2, 3 or 12, this bet loses. A point is established when a player rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10.
The online craps betting strategy
This will take a while to learn but once a new player grips the logic behind the strategy, the game is easy to play. An alternative is to bet on the dont pass bet. This means that on the initial or come out roll, the player will win on an online craps and lose on 7 or 11 roll. If a point is established, this would win if a 7 is rolled before the corresponding number. In both phases of the casino game, different side bets can be made which will increase the players chances of winning.
Internet Craps Variations
The Terminology used in online craps may differ from one casino to another. For the most part, the player who is rolling the dice is called the shooter. A 7 or 11 roll is called a natural.
Internet Craps Tips
One of the good strategies commonly used is to make pass line bets or dont pass bets by placing the true odds bet once the point has been established. You do this by clicking to the right of the point chip, and your second true odds bet will be placed. Another good bet is to place the 6 or 8 to win bet.
Proposition Bets - These bets can be made at any time. Except for the Hardways, they are all one-roll bets.
Any craps: You win if a 2, 3 or 12 are thrown. Pays 8:1
Any seven: You win if a 7 is rolled. Pays 5:1
Eleven: You win if an 11 is thrown. Pays 15:1
Ace deuce: You win if a 3 is rolled. Pays 15:1
Aces/Boxcars: You win if a 2 or 12 are thrown. Pays 30:1
Horn Bet These are bets made on 2, 3, 11 and 12 and placed all at once. A player wins if one of these numbers is rolled. The pay-off is determined by the number rolled. The other three bets are then lost.
Hardways - The bet on a Hardway number wins if it is thrown the hard way before the easy way or a 7 is rolled i.e. as a double. A Hardways bet on 8 will win on 4-4, and lose on 7, 6-2 or 5-3.
