An article in the USA Today, front page, on May 2, 2005, headline reads: States torn on illegals’ rights. The politicians of the United States and the States thereof are hired/elected to serve Americans not illegals! There should be no debate over illegals’ rights, their rights are clear: immediate deportation and if found to be repeatedly crossing the broader illegally, punished severely. Those knowingly aiding illegals should be punished twice as severely.

The article mentions that some states are actually expanding the rights of illegals. The politicians doing so should be charged with treason! It also mentions states are concerned about the effects of illegals on the job market, schools, health care and other public services. These services are for Americans! Illegals should not be allowed the use of these services and when trying to use them, they need to be deported! Americans pay taxes for this. Why should I remain a US citizen, if I can obtain these benefits without being one? Why are illegals being given water hookups, library cards, driver’s licenses or ID cards? Why aren’t they arrested and deported? And if an illegal has a child while being in the US, the child should have the status of an illegal as well.

In March New Mexico became the ninth state to allow illegals to obtain discounted college tuition, sixteen other states are considering it. This is crazy! An American who goes to college out of state is charged high rates until the person becomes a resident of that state, yet if someone is illegal, they get a discount? About 30 states are considering laws to let illegals obtain drivers licenses. Why aren’t the states increasing law enforcement to deport illegals instead? They are supposed to serve the American citizens!

If this isn’t bad enough, there are those that say punitive measures are not the solution: Josh Bernstein of the National Immigration Law Center, which helps illegals and betrays Americans, says, “When you isolate (and) alienate … that’s not good for society.” Well Josh, should we remove punitive measures for stealing, murder and rape? According to you it’s not good for society to punish criminals for their crime! 

This issue is very simple: illegals are called illegals because it’s illegal for them to be here! It’s not their country. They have no rights here! Any and all American politicians not protecting America from illegal immigration should be tried for treason! They should be stripped of their American citizenship, all their assets seized by the government; their assets should be used to help stop illegal immigration, and they should be immediately exiled.
