America the homeland of opportunity and immigration. We were built on foreigners coming to the new world. My own grandparents on my dad's side came from overseas. I'm a clear supporter of immigration, although such needs to be done in the right way. Those that come here illegally should be deported for their criminal act, it's that simple, but this isn't the intention of my writing.
I've heard about legal immigrants receiving benefits such as discounted loans, tax free operation of their businesses and most recently, the fact that my tax dollars and yours actually pay to bring immigrates to our country. I don't know about you, but that's NOT what I pay taxes for! I'm outraged that our government has mismanaged our taxes dollars in this way.
I have worked with more than one legal immigrant who had the way to America paid for by our tax dollars PLUS he and his family were given $6,000 cash, a free place to stay and health benefits for a year! This was taken from us forcefully via taxation and given to non-Americans to come here to work and take American jobs and devalue the American wage. If such is going to happen, at least let the companies that wish to hire them pay for their trip and expenses or some foundation whose purpose it is to do so, but not with our tax dollars!
Recently a bridge in Minnesota collapsed due to lack of upkeep, which revealed in a related story that up to 25% of American bridges are in disarray. That's one in four! How can we have money to bring immigrates here, if we don't have money to repair are infrastructure? This is not to mention the discrimination regarding not taxing immigrants' businesses. What benefit is it to be American, if immigrants are getting privileges we don't? If I as an American start a business, I don't get the privilege of not paying tax for 7 years while my business grows and then get to sell it to a family member and get another 7 seven years free from tax and then repeat the process over again.
I am outraged at such a policy, it's equal to treason. I hereby demand, not request, I demand an end to the funding of immigration through a no tax business policy, by paying to bring them here, or by any and all other privileges not received first by American citizens. American benefits shall be for Americans!
The federal government is out of control and if it can't contain itself, maybe it's time to end it. We said enough to the British when all odds were against us. If a government is not going to protect it's own people before aiding others, such a government has outlived it's worth.
