The Reasons Why Liberty League Didn't Cut It For Me
| by Hillary Patz | March 19, 2008
As I was searching the internet for an internet marketing business opportunity, I considered joining Liberty League International. Liberty League International is well known for their promotional video clips featuring private jets and exotic vacations, but, is it all a scam or are they really going to help you achieve your dream life-style? Your role in Liberty League will be to sell one of their three motivational products. There is Beyond Freedom ($1,495), the Liberty League 3 day conference ($7,995), and The Summit 5 day conference ($12,995). After studying and researching this company, I decided not to join. Allow me to be blunt and explain why.
The first reason I didn't join, is that they are NOT 100% internet based. We are in the 20th century people! I can't figure this one out. The second reason I didn't join, is that they are NOT 100% automated. Wouldn't you want to work with a company that allows you to make money in your sleep? There are companies out there that do this. The third reason I didn't join, is that their compensation plan wasn't all that great. After reviewing other network marketing companies, this one just doesn't add up.
I also found some information on Liberty League International's past legal problems.
In May 2006, the Arizona Attorney General issued Liberty League International an $115,000.00 fine. In addition to civil penalties, attorney's fees, and restitution, the defendants are also required to:
⢠Refrain from making unsubstantiated income claims.
⢠Advise potential customers of the correct percentage of participants who have made a profit through their participation in the Liberty League program.
⢠Refrain from making any false or deceptive statements in their marketing materials.
Well, those are my reasons why I passed on Liberty League International. I hope you will take this information to heart before you decide on joining this company.
