Seo Press Formula - Does it deliver the goods?

Brian Johnson's latest product, Seo Press Formula,, is being released on Nov the 6th. Brian G. Johnson has dabbled in internet marketing for more than six years full-time and this latest product (having only produced a total of two products ever to date) he details how he created traffic and sales on the net blogs. In his own words, he wants to "share everything I know about wordpress and driving free search engine traffic for profit". It's a simple statement, but does he manage to deliver?

You will find a main eBook of more than seventy pages and videos which detail several parts of the main eBook. The eBook covers many sections but is primarily divided into these sections: A brief background look at websites online, setting up your blog and making it as SEO friendly as humanly possible, niche investigation, extra keyword research & information and then finishes with more information about web 2.0/video/social bookmarking web sites. The material covered is presented well and is easy to read. There are more than 20+ videos which offer great depth of some of the sections covered in the eBook, but for people who are strapped for time and don't really want to watch the videos to see if there is anything of use can find a basic description of what every video covers in the eBook. In a nutshell, the eBook offers all the required steps people should implement to set up a blog and then how to make the blog SEO friendly in order to generate as much traffic as possible based on the keywords they chose. Brian has tried to sell his product as a plan, hence the title Seo Press Formula. The eBook is basically what he thinks to be the plan folks need to follow if they want to setup cash making blogs. Having said that, let us take a look at where I think the product fails to deliver.

The sales page for Seo Press Formula boldly states "How I Made $21,192.61 in 90 Days" but the actual product in does not go into much depth or detail of how you could make those sales or money. Statements like this on sales pages need to be taken with a grain of salt. Another let down is that half of the main eBook is devoted to actually setting up and making your blog SEO friendly (approx 40+ pages). A big portion of that material is basic and can easily found elsewhere online for no cost. To give you an example of this one section goes over how to install wordpress and another covers installing widgets like All in One SEO to improve the SEO factor of your blog. While a majority of the information offered in those pages is crucial and can help your blog rank better for your chosen keywords (such as permalinks etc), it appears to be that the norm for most products is that a big portion of the material is all about basic or fundamental steps which leads me to personally believe this product is targeted to beginners or beginners with some experience. Once more, there is nothing wrong with fundamental or basic information, but why aren't authors writing 40+ pages on advanced material?

While more than half of the material is fundamental, a lot is covered and most if not all of the advice given is valuable and isn't fluff. Something I liked was that the author even suggests what sections you can skip or skim over if you already have some experience in blogs etc. Based on just how much is offered, there are most definitely going to be parts that some beginners did not know about or have seen about and just haven't looked at in much detail. I am of the opinion that most people know that there are many steps one can implement to improve the SEO ranking of a blog and it is very easy to overlook some steps or tricks that people can use. It's in similar to this that I believe the information described is a great refresher and can be good to jog your memory of what can be done to try and boost your SEO ranking. Another aspect about SEO Press Formula that I believe offers some use for beginners is about niche exploration. While this does not mean the niche exploration is the same length as just creating and making your blog SEO friendly (40+ pages), but it does try to offer some value. Basic ways you can find possible niches (checking eBay etc), then examining competition and competing sites in addition to approx keyword traffic and using google trends to identify trends. The information found within is once more limited and a little basic, but for a beginner it should be of use. Nowadays, most products released often completely skim over market/niche selection or at best offer a couple of lines of what they believe to be information but often is nothing more than junk. Finally, at the back of the eBook you will find a large resource section with social book marking sites, rss directories and other resources people should use to link to help improve the rank of your website. It is an extensive list and people shouldn't really have any need to look for more places to submit to online as there is already enough to keep you busy for a long long time.

Is it of any value? Possibly the best way to answer this is by taking a look at the goals or aim Brian had with Seo Press Formula. His original aim was to teach someone everything he knew about blogging and getting free traffic. Was this achieved? Simply put I believe he did. There is a lot of information offered about creating blogs and then using different tactics to drive free traffic to it. It is the claim of helping people to generate profit that worries me. It would be safe to say that the ebook looks mostly at installing blogs and getting traffic. Other than adsense or affiliate links not much in-depth detail or information is really given to generating profit. Regardless I would say that is does offer value, as long as you aren't buying this product with the intention of getting rich over night. Beginners stand to gain the most from this product. Those with some knowledge of blogging will still find a few pieces of useful information, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who already had some knowledge in the area of blogging. In summary, if you are a beginner you stand to more than likely gain some good information from this product.
