After researching the internet for a solid home based business opportunity, I ran across Pre Paid Legal. I thought to myself, this sounds like a great concept. I was eager to learn more about their idea, so I began to dig deeper. Let me share my findings with you.

Pre Paid Legal has an agreement with a law firm to receive a monthly payment, in exchange for legal advice. Whether it be a lawsuit or a will, they will look at the issue you are facing, and give you counsel on what to do. Sounds great, right?

Now, the hidden secret is that when you sign up, their legal staff doesn't work for the membership fee. But, you can receive counsel at a cheaper price. Although you get a free will for membership, all the other legal information you receive, will be charged at a discounted price. So, what is the discounted price from an attorney who may be hundreds, maybe even thousands of miles away? My attorney friand tells me that you can receive a free consultation from just about any attorney to determine your course of action. Why wouldn't you just do that? I think to myself.

Now lets take a closer look at the membership fee(s). The one time sign up fee is about $149.00, and the monthly membership fee is about $25.00. So, a one year membership is approximately $449 per year. This doesn't count the monthly website fee and weekly meeting fees.

Now, my conclusion is that Pre Paid Legal is a legit company. However, I feel there has got to be a better system out there that offers a product(s) that EVERYONE can use. NOT everyone will need an attorney in their lifetime (God bless them)!
