Trisha Krishnan: The Angelic Face Of Tollywood

Trisha Krishnan was born on 4th may 1983 to parents Krishnan and Uma Krishnan in Kerala. There is a very interesting fact about Trish that from where she did her schooling i.e. Church park high school was the same place from where former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha finished her studies.
She later joined Ethiraj College, Chennai for her degree course and was known for her activeness in various cultural and sports events. Trisha Krishnan tasted fame by winning first Miss Salem [1999], then Miss Chennai in 2000 and later Miss India Miss Beautiful Smile in 2001.
Her career started as a model and she appeared in many TV advertisements including that of Fair and Lovely and Josco Jeweller, and was also starred in Falguni Pathak's music album Meri Chunar Ud Ud Jaye. Her debut was a cameo in movie Dosti but a full fledged role came later in the form of Priyadarshan's Leysa Leysa. The movie however bombed at the box office.
After a spat of more flop movies, Trisha Krishnan finally got her first big hit opposite famous actor Surya in Mounam Pesiyadhe and even won her critical acclaim. Her hit streak was soon followed by Saamy opposite Vikram and Ghilli opposite Vijay.
The actress soon turned towards the shores of Telugu cinema and made her debut in Varsham (2004), which went on to become a biggest hit of the year, and her career hit the sky overnight. She was then seen alongside Siddharth Narayan in Telugu flick Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana directed by Prabhu Deva acting as a village girl Siri, this movie hit the box office and she even won two awards for the film - Filmfare Award and Nandi Award.
Trisha Krishnans list of other successful and not so successful movies include Mani Ratnam's Aayitha Ezhuthu, Pournami directed by Prabhu Deva, Something Something ... Unnakum Ennakum opposite Jayam Ravi, Stalin with Chiranjeevi, Sainikudu, Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verul, Kiteedam and Krishna (2008) to name a few.
She has many upcoming projects including four Tamil films like Bheema with Vikram, Radhamohan directed Abhiyum Naanum, Vijay-Dharani project Kuruvi, and a Gautam Menon film. Her upcoming Telugu project is Puri Jagannadh directed Bujjigadu with Prabhas.
