Jessica Alba- The Rising Dark Angel

Jessica Marie Alba was born on April 28, 1981 in Pomona, California to Mark Alba, an Air Force officer who is Mexican American and Catherine, a lifeguard who is part French and Danish. Her father’s profession relocated the family to many places like Biloxi, Mississippi and Del Rio, Texas, before they settled back in California.
Alba was interested in acting since her childhood in fact. She even took acting classes when she was just 12 years old and was promptly rewarded with her first acting assignment just after nine months. Jessica Alba though wasn’t popular among her mates due to her obsessive compulsive disorder which later got settled down.
She debuted as a child actress with a small role in 1994 feature Camp Nowhere as Gail following it up by appearing in two national TV commercials for Nintendo and J.C. Penney. There were some more television appearances like in The Secret World of Alex Mack, Flipper, Brooklyn South, Beverly Hills 90210, and The Love Boat: The Next Wave.
Jessica Alba was managing all this with her academics. But soon after her graduation she joined the Atlantic Theater Company which was developed by Macy and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and film director, David Mamet. Tits and bits roles in the movies followed for this actress in the form of Never Been Kissed (1999) and comedy-horror film Idle Hands.
Her career’s crowning glory came as a lead role of genetically-engineered super-soldier, Max Guevara, on the FOX sci-fi TV series Dark Angel produced by famed director, James Cameron in 2000. She successfully played the character for 2 years before the series got cancelled in 2002. Jessica later revealed that while preparing for the role she went through obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Jessica Alba took this end of her golden role in her stride and went on to work in movies with a renewed spirits. Some of her famous roles are dancer-choreographer in Honey, exotic dancer Nancy Callahan in Sin City and as the classic Marvel Comics character Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four.
She has graced the covers of various renowned magazines like GQ, and In Style and has been voted as the 2007’s Sexiest Woman in the World in FHM.
