A man from Al Ain is 135-years old according to the details on his identity card, and he says daily prayers and a healthy lifestyle have helped him reach the ripe old age.
Nasir Al-Hajry says he remembers historical events that occurred more than a century ago such as the Tribes War in the Arab Island, UAE daily Khaleej Times reported on Thursday.
His family plan to contact the Guinness Book of World Records after seeing his identity card.
The man claims to have attended the Arabian Revolution against Turkish imperialism in 1916 and the Arab Islands wars during the First World War (1914-1918).
Al Hajry said that visiting the mosque five times daily was his only social activity now.
