LED Displays Having Strong Presence in Olympic Games Venue

Light emitting diodes, commonly called LEDs, are real unsung heroes in the electronics world. They do dozens of different jobs and are found in all kinds of devices. Among other things, they form the numbers on digital clocks, transmit information from remote controls, light up watches and tell you when your appliances are turned on. Collected together, they can form images on a jumbo television screen or illuminate a traffic light.

As the Beijing Olympics Games shoots up completion in the build-up to the event, which opens on August 8, 2008, LED products are the most prominent to observe. Due to increasing demand of LED products specially LED Display,many private AD business have started renting out their LED Displays.

It’s great to see that China's first high-definition system has been placed in the Beijing Olympic Basketball Gymnasium, for display scores and other info at the sport venue during the Olympic Games ,It is reported that the system, which is set up on Wednesday, is being checked vigorously for possible bugs and errors.

According to a reliable source from china the display system is specialty lies in its ability to capture intense, unique moments to be played-back on the big screen. With real-time synchronization, live information broadcasts, and space for advertising, the new system is promised to fulfill the needs of Olympic basketball and NBA competitions.
The system is composed of three parts: a ring screen, a point control system, and a "funnel screen," and this display is very light in weight only 22 ton

The led display system now installed at the Beijing Olympic Basketball Gymnasium and it’s the first set of complete displays in China that is able to meet the demands of the National Basketball Association (NBA). It can also be utilized for basketball games; the LED system is also capable of being used for theatrical performances, real-time broadcasts, and background imagery.
