Ever since Perey Spencer invented the Microwave Oven, it’s been one of the most sought-after home appliances, especially for those keen on cooking.

Unlike convensional cooking devices that utilize fire, Microwave Oven uses micro wave as its source of energy. Along with technological advances, we could now find various kind of microwave oven, though most of the time we are forced to think further ahead before decided to buy it.

Some considerations involved when choosing Microwave Oven. First of all is needs, because Microwave Oven is basically divided into 3 models, that is solo (for heating-up only), grill (heating-up and toasting) and convection (for heating-up, toasting and cake baking).

Capasity is another thing to consider, but depends of the user’s needs.

Don’t forget to think about practicallity when using Microwave Oven. There are ones still using regular buttons, while others are using digital technology for better accuracy and user-friendly features.

You’d want to pick a Microwave Oven that comes with security feature such as child-lock, to avoid endangering children—purposely or not.

For maintenance, Microwave Oven is better be cleaned right after use, by using a bowl or a glass of warm water and lime water. Do not use chemical-based cleaner. Heat the oven for 1 minute and then clean the inside. For easy cleaning, you’d better pick one that doesn’t have edges in the inside.
