Home Remedies to cure Laryngitis

Laryngitis is an inflammation of the larynx causing a temporary loss of voice.
Laryngitis is a very common problem, and often occurs during an upper respiratory tract infection such as flu or a cold.
Laryngitis is caused by:
Overuse of the voice,
allergies
Colds or cough
Smoking
Alcohol consumption
Anxiety
Growths on the larynx
There are some home remedies to cure laryngitis
Prepare a boiling pot of water with sage or eucalyptus leaves or essential oils such as sage, eucalyptus or lavender. After 10 minutes, remove the pot the stove. The person places a towel over the head for a tent-like effect, leans over the pot, and breathes in steam through the mouth.
Prepare one cup (250 ml) of boiling water and pour over 1-2 teaspoons of garden raspberry and then make gargles for several time.
Eat certain foods such as ginger, honey, lemon, and pineapple juice.
Place a warm washcloth on the neck and then place a long cotton cloth soaked in cold water and wrap it around the neck. Then wrap a long piece of wool flannel around the wet cloth. Secure the flannel with a safety pin. The compress can be worn overnight.
Gargle with warm salt water

Rest the voice is especially important,
Wash hands frequently and thoroughly and avoid contact with people who might be sick.
Practice a relaxation technique or exercise to reduce stress
Avoid smoking
Drink more liquids and eat raw fruit and vegetables.
Avoid alcohol because it can irritate the throat
Breath deeply can make the respiratory system stronger.
Use a vaporizer to create moist air
Consult a doctor if symptoms last for more than two weeks.
