The Big Secret
Experienced online marketers have one big secret that anyone new to marketing would benefit greatly from. This secret is exactly what determines a marketer a success or a failure. Its the difference between $5 a month and $5000 a month. What is this big secret? Persistence.
The interesting thing about people who are new to internet marketing is that they have all the resources they need to succeed in the form of e-books written by the gurus and comprehensive training courses. What they are missing is the persistence. Take your average new internet marketer; he has bought a course online that is going to start him off making money online. He will stick with the course for a while and as he realises that instant riches arent flooding into his bank account, he gives up. What he doesnt realise is that when starting off marketing it can take a while to see results but when they come they are worth the wait.
The Newbie
If you are new to marketing and are anxious to start making money online, the single most helpful piece of advice is to set a realistic time limit on your efforts. This could be anything from 3-5 months. Just by giving your marketing efforts a chance to take effect you are opening up a lot of possibilities for yourself. The reason for this is simple. Many people sign up for marketing courses or read an e-book on marketing and implement the methods mentioned. They then finish the course or e-book and see little or no result and think it a waste of time and effort. So in reality they become online marketers for a matter of days or weeks before giving up. If you were to become a doctor or a pilot you wouldnt give up that soon would you? Of course not, even though to become a doctor or a pilot requires years of training it really is no different than making money online.
Some things to remember
Dont expect instant riches from your efforts
Set a realistic time limit before you decide its not for you
When you buy an e-book or take an online course, make sure to see it out to the end before branding it a waste of time and money.
Remember that online marketing efforts can have a delayed result.
