The 2009 Civic Hybrid is a sporty sedan that displays a refreshed look and advanced technological features. New features on the five-passenger 2009 Civic Hybrid include USB Audio Interface, optional leather-trimmed interior and Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with voice recognition.
The 2009 Civic Hybrid is designed on a high-rigidity unit-body platform to deliver quick and solid handling with its fully-independent McPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension. The 2009 Civic Hybrid comes with the handy average fuel consumption indicator, digital fuel-mileage indicators, idle-stop feature, low-fuel and low-oil pressure indicators.
Under the hood of the 2009 Civic Hybrid is Honda’s hybrid technology Integrated Motor Assist System that comes with a 1.3-liter i-VTEC Inline four-cylinder gasoline engine. The engine is mated to a lightweight, high-output 15 kilowatt electric motor to generate a combined 110 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque.
